Harvey Douglas Pauley, 84, of Lucerne, Missouri, passed away peacefully at his home on September 28, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.
Doug was born on September 16, 1942, in Lucerne, Missouri to Dayton and Evelyn (Doty) Pauley.
Doug was united in marriage to Sandra Kay Rhodes. Together, they welcomed three children, Michael, David, and Tisha, and built a life centered around family, hard work, and the simple joys of country living.
Doug was a farmer at heart. He took great pride in his work and enjoyed the many years he spent row cropping and tending to his animals. When he wasn’t working on the land, Doug could often be found doing the things he loved most, including fishing, bow hunting, golfing, woodworking and watching football, especially Missouri University and the Kansas City Chiefs.
Above all, Doug cherished his family and always provided for them. One of his greatest joys was watching his grandchildren grow and cheering them on from the sidelines. He loved going to see them play sports and was always proud to support them in whatever they were doing.
Doug will be remembered for his hardworking nature, his love of farming and most of all, his devotion to his family. He leaves behind a lifetime of memories that will be treasured by all who knew and loved him.
