Terry Leon Garr, age 63, passed away at the University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia, MO on December 29, 2025.
Terry was born on March 1, 1962, in Unionville, MO, the son of Edward and Barbara (Wells) Garr. He was raised in Unionville and attended the local schools. He was most recently working for the Pearson – Fowler farms as a Herdsman. Terry truly loved the outdoors; hunting deer, fishing and especially enjoyed hunting mushrooms in the spring. His greatest joy came from being a father and grandfather to his 5 grandchildren. He was a true and loyal friend and could always be counted on to lend a helping hand.
Terry is survived by his children, Katelyn (Harley) Dockery and Nathan (Nicole) Garr both of Unionville, his grandchildren, Kaidyn, Kiya, Allie, Leelah, Eastin and Brantley, “his love” Linda Carter of Unionville, his brothers John (Pebs) Garr and Danny (Tina) Garr both of Unionville along with his uncle, aunt, and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and aunts and uncles.
An open visitation and time for sharing memories will be held on Sunday, January 4, 2025, at 4:00 pm at Casady-Luscan Funeral Solutions in Green Castle, MO. Cremation will follow the services, and interment will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be given to the family’s choice.
