William (Bill) Clayton Triplett, 67 of Livonia, Missouri passed away at his home in Livonia, Missouri on Thursday, November 27, 2025.
The son of Darwin Eugene and Georgia Dean (Fullerton) Triplett, he was born on April 24, 1958 in Unionville, Missouri. He was a graduate of the Putnam County High School in Unionville, Missouri. On February 28, 1988 in Livonia, Missouri he was united in marriage to Theckla Marie White and to this union two children were born, Chelsea and Kale.
Bill is survived by his wife, Theckla Triplett of Livonia, Missouri; his children, Chelsea Jackson and husband, Kade of Downing, Missouri and Kale Triplett of Milan, Missouri; seven grandchildren, Carson, Collin and Conley Jackson of Downing, Missouri, Lily, Sage and Wren Triplett of Unionville, Missouri and one special granddaughter, Eliza Stamm of Unionville, Missouri; two sisters, Judy Rook and husband, Bradley of Bloomfield, Iowa and Alberta Quintana and husband, Harvey of Livonia, Missouri; one nephew, Eric Quintana of Livonia, Missouri; three nieces, Belinda Lindberg and husband, Brent of Bloomfield, Iowa, Haleigh White of Bettendorf, Iowa and Madelynne Ridgway and husband, Sam of Waukee, Iowa; eight great nieces and nephews; other family members and numerous friends.
Bill is preceded in death by his parents, Georgia on October 20, 2018 and Darwin on August 15, 2011; one brother, Bruce Triplett on September 9, 2023; one sister, Marcia Joan Triplett on January 23, 2025; three nephews, Nicholas Rook, Ben Quintana and Jeff Miller and one great niece, Brooklyn Lindberg.
Bill was a member of the Omaha Baptist Church in Unionville, Missouri. He was very involved in the community serving on the Tri-County Electric Board, Putnam County Fair Board, Thompson Cemetery Board, was a 4-H volunteer and never missed working a food stand shift. In the ‘80’s, Bill worked for Veirs Fur Company. He was a farrier for over 30 years and most recently was a Cobett livestock waterer salesman. In his later years, Bill was blessed and enjoyed sharing his love of horses with his grandchildren. Bill was a lifelong rancher, dedicated cattleman and an all-around cowboy.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. at the Omaha Baptist Church in rural Unionville, Missouri with Kevin Collins officiating. Special musical selections will be “Horses In Heaven” and “One More Day.” Soloist will be Cauy Spidle. Pallbearers will be Bill Holland, Mick Whitney, Bob Richardson, Carroll Noland, Mike McCollom, and Carl Hyer. Honorary pallbearers will be Josh Steele, Carson, Collin and Conley Jackson, Wyatt Selvey and Carl Snider. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at the Omaha Baptist Church in rural Unionville, Missouri between the hours of 2:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. Memorials have been established for Thompson Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Norman Funeral Home in Lancaster, Missouri.
