Bruce Allen Higgins, age 76, of Princeton, MO, passed away on November 14, 2025, at the Crestview Home in Bethany, MO.
Bruce was born the son of Everett and Eleanor (Hubka) Higgins on January 12, 1949, in Princeton, MO. He attended the Ravanna, MO schools. Following graduation, he joined the United States Marine Corp and faithfully served his country. Bruce was united in marriage to Virginia Bagley on September 28, 1978, in Mercer, MO. They raised two children. Bruce farmed along with his father, drove a semi over the road, and operated heavy construction equipment before his retirement.
He also enjoyed hunting, trapping, fishing and camping and taking short road trips on the weekends and spending time with his grandchildren and great granddaughter.
Bruce is survived by his wife Virginia of the home in Princeton, son Lee Higgins and his daughter Amanda Higgins, grandson Damien Mouzakia all of Princeton, granddaughter Karley (Ty) Blessing, great granddaughter Abilene all of Eudora, KS, his sister Ruth Mooney of Sun City West, AZ, brothers-in-law William (Tami) Bagley, Dennis (Judy) Bagley, Paul (Chub) Bagley, sister-in-law Betty Bagley, nieces, nephews and their children. He was preceded in death by his parents, his in-laws Raymond and Ramona Bagley, brothers-in-law John Bagley and William Mooney.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
The family will have a Celebration of Life service at a later date.
