Bradley Chase Penfield, age 27 of Kirksville, MO passed away with his family at his side on Thursday, April 17, 2025, at the Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville.
Bradley was born on April 27, 1997, in Columbia, MO the son of Randy and Rhonda (Griggs) Penfield. Bradley was born premature with Cerebral Palsy, but he quickly became an inspiration and blessing to everyone that knew him. He was known for his smile and infectious laugh; for always being happy-go-lucky, as long as it was “Bradley’s way.” He loved going to the Thousand Hills State Park and to the train station at LaPlata. He enjoyed his moon-pod chair and watching television shows, especially the Simpsons. He was loved and cherished by many and will be greatly missed.
Bradley is survived by his parents, Randy and Rhonda Penfield of Novinger, MO, his brothers, Logan (Mercedes) Penfield of Cincinnati, IA and Joey Roberts of Unionville, MO, his nieces Mia Roberts, Mikenna Roberts and Brylee Penfield, his grandparents: Gary and Evelyn Griggs of Unionville, MO and Tom and DaNiel Penfield of Villisca, IA, his extended house brothers: Cory, Kenny and Sam as well as his friends and caregivers at 804, along with several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Kathryn Penfield, his niece Maddie Roberts, his uncle Bobby Penfield and friend Cheston Bleything.
Funeral Services were held on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at the Harford Baptist Church in Hartford, MO with Pastor Jeff Harlan officiating. The family received friends at the church from 1:00 p.m. until the service time. Burial followed at the Shipley Cemetery. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established to the Shipley Cemetery.
